Abigail Corr was originally born in Baltimore, Maryland but lived in Easton, Pennsylvania for the majority of her childhood. She began attending Stage Door Studio under the direction of Patricia Bartholomew in Wilson, PA at the age of five years old. For high school, Abigail attended the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Performing Arts located in Bethlehem, PA. As a dance major at LVPA, Abigail received excellent training and took part in various performances of different dance styles and genres. In May 2016, Abigail graduated magna cum laude from The University of Hartford's Hartt School with a B.F.A. in dance, and an emphasis in ballet pedagogy. During her studies at The Hartt School, she had the opportunity to perform in both restaged ballet and classical modern works, as well as in new works choreographed by members of Hartt's dance faculty. Along with performing, Abigail was able to do teaching internships for two semesters at The Hartt School Community Division and in the Hartford Magnet School. Other dance education includes attendance at Bates Dance Festival, Complexions Contemporary Ballet summer program, Rioult summer intensive, and many more. Abigail plans to continue to live in Hartford, Connecticut where she completed schooling and will be teaching at two different dance studios in the fall along with dancing with Sonia Plumb Dance Company.
