Doug has more than 20 years of business, technology business, sales, and marketing experience leading and building teams. Over the past 10 years, Doug has focused on a number of technology start-up organizations around the country raising millions of venture dollars, creating new products, and building business, sales, and marketing organizations, and one instance taking a company private.Prior to his work with startup organizations, as an executive for Apple, where he led the northeast US and prior to Apple held many roles for Microsoft from an individual contributor to leading large organizations in commercial, public sector, and education enterprise sales and marketing in Boston, New York, and Southern California, and Hawaii.
Doug has three daughters - Lauren, Julie, and Hayley, each of whom have attended IAC, Julie also graduated from IAA.All three are involved in the arts - Julie is performing with the North America tour of Phantom of the Opera and Hayley is a musical theater student at Syracuse University, and Lauren has performed in a number of community theatre programs in Boston and Austin.
Doug has a bachelor’s degree in Music Performance and Business from the Hartt School at the University of Hartford. He has been integral to BTC's growth and enduring success for more than 10 years and serves on the board of Trustees for the Interlochen Center for the Arts.
