Jane Krantz grew up training at the King Centre for the Performing Arts in Bergen County, New Jersey, where she performed and competed across the nation with the American Youth Dance Company. She attended The Hartt School on scholarship under the direction of Stephen Pier and holds a BFA in Dance Performance. While at Hartt, Jane had the opportunity to work under Nina Watt, Hilda Morales, Charlotte Griffin, Doug Varone, Take Ueyama, Loni Landon, Gregory Dolbashian, and Betsy McMillan. Before completing her senior year, Jane was one of only three dancers from the United States to be selected to travel to Mexico City for the ArcDanz Professional Dance Program, where she performed at the Museo Soumaya.
Upon graduation, Jane attended the Connecticut School of Yoga, where she obtained her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification. She teaches yoga in the Hartford area; as well as teaching dance classes and choreographing at dance schools in the Connecticut and New York area. Jane continues to dance professionally, performing both nationally and internationally as a soloist. Most recently, she has been working on a solo choreographed by Hannah Myers, which has been selected to perform in Edinburgh, Scotland at the 74th Annual Choreographer’s Showcase. Jane has also performed with companies and theaters across the US, including The Now Unboxing Project, Playhouse on Park, Comedy Central's "Funny or Die" Tour; as well as dancing and taking on the role of Company Manager of The Dance Collective.
