Katie Judge, Fall FairyKatie Judge of Hanover, MA began dancing at the age of three. She was a student and faculty member at the Dance Workshop of Hanover where she received extensive training in ballet, pointe, contemporary, jazz, and tap. Judge continued her dance training at the University of Hartford Hartt School where she is currently enrolled in her senior year of the BFA ballet pedagogy and dance performance program. For the past four years she has had the opportunity to perform in several new and restaged works by prominent choreographers such as Jose Limon, George Balanchine, Norbert de la Cruz III, Lucy Bowen McCauley, Debra Collins Ryder, and Katie Stevinson-Nollet. She has also had the opportunity to attend several prestigious intensive programs around the country, including San Francisco Conservatory of Dance and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago.
Along with her performance and pedagogy studies at The Hartt Shool, Judge has expanded her passion for teaching dance through internships with The Hartt School Community Division and the University of Hartford Magnet School. She currently holds the position of Dance Director in The Hartt Community Division’s Prism Project, a performing arts program for students with exceptionalities. |
