Michele Fischer-Paul
Michele joined Ballet Theatre Company’s Board of Directors in 2010. Michele has over 20 years of experience as an educator in various fields including preschool, public access television production, corporate insurance, religious education, public schools, and retail. She was the Vice President of Gaffney Elementary School’s Parent Teacher Association (New Britain), and the Chair of the Cooperative Nursery School of New Britain’s Board of Directors where she later joined the staff as their lead Pre-K teacher. In addition, Michele was a classroom and library volunteer at Griswold Elementary School (Berlin), and worked as a substitute in the Berlin School District. She was the Media/Marketing lead for Boy Scout Troup 41 (Berlin), and the CT Rep for New England Doberman Rescue. Also in 2010, she was invited to join CONNetic Dance Company’s Planning Committee (West Hartford). She is a member of the international honor societies of Alpha Beta Gamma and Phi Theta Kappa. Michele discovered the joys of yoga and dance as an adult. Her hobbies also include organic gardening and photography. Michele’s daughter Margot is a member of BTC’s Junior Company, and a student of Ballet Theatre Academy since 2008.
