BTC is thrilled to continue its partnership with The Miracle League of CT and offer Everybody Dance Now, an Adaptive Dance Program for its 6th annual year.
THE MISSION
To provide dancers of all abilities and ages the opportunity to express themselves through dance despite their physical and emotional limitations.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Everybody Dance Now was created in 2018 through a collaboration of BTC's Artistic Director, Stephanie Dattellas and The Miracle League of CT's Executive Director, Mike McChaud. Through their combined passion of inclusivity, community engagement and the power of the arts, Dattellas and McChaud created a program that is now offered in 2 other locations with 2 other affiliations, that allows children of all abilities throughout CT to experience the joy of dance.
The program is offered to children, adolescents, teens and adults ranging from 3-21 years old. Each dance class is forty-five minutes and includes a warm up, movement studies/exercises, and choreography workshops.
BTC would like to thank the Miracle League families and children, Goodwin College volunteers, and SBTC student volunteers for a successful Fall session of Everybody Dance Now!

MEET OUR TEACHER
Meghan Keller is from Duxbury, Massachusetts where she started her dance training with Jose Mateo Ballet Theatre. At the age of 10, she transferred to South Shore Ballet Theatre under the director, Marthavan McKeon. While there, she studied ballet, pointe, modern, jazz, musical theatre, and character dance. Since graduating, she attends the University of Hartford, receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Ballet Pedagogy with a minor in Business Administration. At the Hartt School, she has trained in many different styles of dance including classical ballet technique with Stephen Pier, Hilda Morales, and Debra Collins Ryder, José Limón technique with Nina Watt, Martha Graham technique with Miki Orihara and Ralph Perkins, and contemporary dance forms with Katie Stevinson-Nollet. She is most passionate about teaching dance. As a teacher, she has taught at the South Shore Ballet Theatre summer program for the Young Dancers Program for several years. Additionally, she taught a creative movement to students at the University of Hartford magnet school, which brought her so much joy to spread the art of dance into the community. She is currently still teaching ballet and pointe at the University of Hartford community division. She is so excited to teach to any students
wanting to dance!
