Summer is the ideal time for students to pursue a dance education. Without academic pressures or busy extracurricular activity schedules, dancers are able to excel at a more rapid pace in technical skill, strength and performance, while exploring a variety of dance styles.

SBTC recommends that dancers train for several consecutive weeks to support and sustain their dance technique and strength, however, it is understood that not all dancers wish to train in this fashion. SBTC's summer program schedules have been designed to allow students the flexibility to train all summer or for selected weeks.

New students interested in SBTC's Summer Dance Intensives should fill out the "New Student Inquiry Form" for Summer 2024 (click button below) to determine their placement in the program. SBTC's School Administrator will be in touch no later than 48 hours after submission. For any further questions please  email school@dancebtc.org

All classes will be taught by SBTC’s professional faculty who train, study, and teach in a variety of styles. Artistic Director Stephanie Dattellas adds,

“Among the characteristics that make SBTC’s summer training program and faculty attractive is its history of instilling self-confidence in our young artists; starting by meeting them where they are at and empowering them to believe in their own potential. We understand that bodies come in all shapes and sizes and that one method of learning doesn’t click for every student. I am proud that our summer faculty exposes dancers to multiple ballet methodologies.”
