SBTC TRAINING DIVISIONS
SBTC provides a comprehensive dance education through four distinctive training divisions: The Children’s Division, The Student Division, The Adult Division, and The Junior Corps de Ballet. SBTC’s class offerings begin with classes for 3 year old children and continue through to classes for adults. SBTC serves its community and beyond in a state-of-the-art facility with a professionally trained faculty. SBTC strives to meet the needs of each and every student within its wide and varied population.

The Adult Division
Whether you are a beginner or returning dancer, SBTC’s adult classes are for everyone and taught in a welcoming environment. Adult classes are designed to promote an understanding of the technique and artistry of movement, while developing a strong and flexible body.
SBTC’s distinguished faculty creates material that is catered towards the experience level of the dancers in each class, and offers modifications or different versions of material when dancers of mixed levels are present, so that everyone can fully participate and enjoy the benefits of dance.

SBTC offers a unique opportunity for young aspiring dancers to perform in professional ballet productions as part of BTC’s Junior Corps de Ballet. The mission of BTC’s Junior Corps de Ballet is to provide serious dancers the opportunity to train at a high caliber, experience professional dance at a young age, and, if interested, to prepare for a future in dance.
Members of the Junior Corps de Ballet and apprentices learn the importance of discipline and goal setting, leadership skills, working well with others, and professionalism in and out of the performing arts world.
